Gourmet coffee has really entered the mainstream in recent years. Remember when there wasn't a Starbucks on every corner? Nowadays McDonalds is even in on the gourmet coffee trend.
With gourmet coffee so popular, it's only a matter of time before people begin growing their own beans. That's where this domain name, coffeeseeds.com, enters the picture.
Build an ecommerce site around this domain. Offer tips on proper growing methods and how to roast those beans just right!
This is a no
reserve auction and bidding starts at $1. If your pre-bid is over $100 and it wins the auction, you will get a 2% cashback bonus. You may place your pre-bid now to instantly get in on the action.
Good luck, and happy bidding!

CoffeeSeeds.com?? Did I sleep through the Seedie Baby craze? Or maybe I once wore a propeller seedie on my head and have totally forgotten about it. Hmmm... Ah yes, now I remember playing with seed bags, eating rice and seeds, seed curd, boston baked seeds, and paying the seed-counter to do my books. As a youth I read Jack and The Seed Stalk, more recently I been known to hang out in out in beany places, and I must confess that I have an automatic seed-grinding espresso machine that I use... read more

It must be because of the rapid pace of techno-linguistic change that I'm on the cusp of losing touch with the marketplace. Also, there's got to be room for neologistic branding humor in any prognosticator's bag of tricks. Because, really, if there's a place for "neologistic" or for "prognosticator" in our lexicon, there's got to be a place for CoffeeSeeds.com. (Actually, I've just been kidding folks. It's a great domain for those who want to "grow their own" and maximize the buzz.) collapse

Hmmmm. What is a coffee seed? Let me go Google it. Ahhhh. Ok. This is a GREAT domain. It's product based with plenty of advertisers as well as 1.26m search results from Google for the exact phrase. It's spelled correctly and the plural works better in this situation.
A company who sells coffee seeds would love to have this domain. Or someone could throw up some information on how to grow from coffee seeds with a forum and you'd almost have an instant community. Good to the last drop. : ) That was a Folger's coffee reference from years ago...I'm showing my age.
I'd say $1500 would be a great price.

Interesting name, but this is where I draw the line. I honestly haven't heard of a coffee seed until today. Why haven't I? Well no one I know is actually into growing coffee plants. Unless this is a new fad or trend, this domain will reach the mid xxx level. Again it is an interesting name and the right affiliate could potentially make this domain name a very valuable asset.

Who doesn't like to drink coffee! And, the word "coffee" targets many users. But, it would of been better to have "grounds", "shop", or "bean(s)" after the word coffee.
CoffeeSeeds.com should do well and should capture attention to many bidders. My guess would be around $1,000-$1,200.
Best regards,
Victor

Little puzzled with this one. There seems to be a small market for folks who want to grow a coffee plant but unless you live on the side of a hot, wet mountain, not sure how successful you will be. A decent number of advertisers and a few hundred--up to 1K searches a month in Google give it some credibility but nothing to great. Combine that with the fact that no other major extension is taken, doesn't help make it's case.

Coffee is a powerful/popular and the words go together nicely so its "branding" potential could be much more effective that the keyword aspect. Hard to speculate in that value though because it's value would only be to an end-user, if there was one. Low $XXX tops. My guess is that because it will be in a public auction an active audience of bidders, it will sell for more than it would normally. collapse

My #1 rule for for domains is don't try to reinvent the English language with word combos nobody uses. I have never heard anyone refer to coffee beans as seeds. It is available in every extension except .com. Google's keyword tool says 2400 monthly global searches. While coffee beans gets 201,000 and coffee bean gets 246,000. This is exactly why I have my #1 rule. A few months back supportourtroops.net and supportoursoldiers.net dropped on the same day. Troops went for $1250(great buy) and soldiers went for $59. Names like this are hard to resell and there are to many other options for an end user to get too serious about this name.... read more

Only the .com is taken and all other extensions are free? Sounds like bidder suicide. Additionally, its such a small niche that I can't imagine making money on this domain any time soon, provided it sells for more than a few hundred. Even then, its probably going to take several years to recover the investment.
Save yourself an hour of your life and take your wife and kids out to lunch, you'll get more out of it.

I have been buying and selling domains since 1999. I purchased my first domain for $30 and sold it two weeks later for $400. After that, I was hooked. It didn't take long for me to realize there was much money to be made in a virtually untapped market (the web). I focus on high quality acquisitions and development rather than flipping domains. However, I do occasionally sell premium domains to fund larger acquisitions. collapse
