For this first appearance of a dot mobi, TechSupport.mobi is a cracking little number, the term is searched for several thousand times per month (EXACT U.S on adwords)and over 30,000 per month on broad. It is quite a cool term for branding and would work great an FAQ / directory type portal where people could do quick searches for answers to "tech issues." If it is developed, keeping the site tidy and quick to navigate through will be crucial to appeal to a strong mobile audience, which could prove difficult if you are building into a huge database of information.
There are also plenty of companies offering "remote tech support" and "24/7 help" and if people are having a pc / internet issue, then having access to support via mobile would be ideal. Perhaps a joint venture with a support company could be an option.
Either way this domain definitely has potential on the mobile internet front and I would like to see it go for more than $1,000. However I'm not sure how many supporters of dotMobi are out there in the current domaining community so it could be less...it will be an interesting one that's for sure.

That also means that the domain market has undervalued .mobi domains, which presents a decent investment opportunity here. It's a great, generic name and relevant extension so it will hold it's value even if ICANN floods the market with extensions.

I see more companies using their brand name .mobi to promote their mobile versions of their websites. However, I have rarely seen generic words or terms used with dotMOBI, as you would see used with other extensions. This hurts .MOBI investors (note: I own a few as well).

If you're a .MOBI fan than this name is for you. Almost every company at some point or another is in need of or searches for some sort of "tech support' today and more so into the future.
