I also like the idea of integrating this domain with mobile technology along the SMS/text message theme. Linking friends together via text, perhaps a social platform whereby people add their mobile phone to the mix to receive updates on what friends are doing?... a twitter or facebook app? Check out Bango for mobile billing. Whichever way the winner of this little beauty decides to go, it would be a shame to see it sold for less than the 4 figure mark, the monetisation opportunities for this domain are very strong. There are many development possibilities for this domain including using it for a major ad network, or on a smaller scale, even for a link or bidding directory. I think this is a good "alternative" domain name for an ad company that sells text links already but has a better business name. My business could be called Admeco but it would serve you well to have the domain textlinking.com to show the world what you do. This adds value to the name. For the first time, I actually have no idea what the name will go for but I am going to go lower that most people think, I think it will go for 600-700 but would not be surprised to see it go for 3K plus. In real life I grow plants for a living but in the domain world I specialize in garden and plant related domain names. I have also been acquiring high quality 5 letter domain names as well.
