Biography:

Viewing the domain industry from the developer's perspective at Acroplex.com, I am able to estimate the end-user potential of domain names. Having invested in generic, dictionary domains, short names and brandable compounds, I maintain an objective evaluation method, based on my experience and intrinsic "gut feeling".

The .net TLD is massively undervalued for years now. However, it's a strong competitor to .com and as such it maintains strong commercial potential. Dictionary domains, especially nouns, adjectives or verbs (in this case) retain their value in the domain marketplace regardless of market conditions. This is a positive word that can be used by many industries.

Harlot is an archaic form of today's definition of a "slut": a party woman, that engages in the joys of flesh! I'm a little concerned about the commercial use of it other than for novel or movie titles, or for a medieval genre in the adult entertainment industry.

Great, positive domain. Ignore the TLD for a second and focus on its potential use: art, photography, modeling. Excellent for such a large market or for keyword assistance to an existing portfolio of an artist.

Three letter .com domains are the steady domaining currency - the "gold" standard, if you must. Long gone are the days of $xxx sales (and yes, six years ago I did buy a LLL .com for under $160!). Nowadays, LLL .com domains rarely sell for under eight grand a piece. Good letters or "bad" letters, it seems to matter only when one cannot ...afford the minimum wholesale price. But LLL .com sales can reach tens of thousands of dollars, with a select few having surpassed the six-figure mark.

Humans have opposing thumbs, and this feature lets us use tools; the thumbs moved progress forward. Now, an injured thumb is not a problem to a finger-typist but still, it can be painful and devastating. Not sure whether to point the thumb up or down for this one.

It's currently the *wrong* time to offer LLL .com domains for sale. I repeat: it's currently the *wrong* time for sellers...and the *right* time for buyers to step in and pick up the good deals.

This domain would sell in the $7k to $8k range last year; currently, the reseller's market "dictates" half as much. The secret is to find end users that would pay a premium price no matter what the resellers value domains at.

For several years now, three letter .com domains are used as the "gold coin" of domain trading. In 2007 and into the better half of 2008, LLL .com's rose in pricing to almost $9k across the board, even for lesser quality letters, with the better quality letters bringing LLL .com sales well into the mid $xx,xxx range.

This one consists of the "difficult" letter "Z" and the "JP" pair that denotes "Japan". However, "Z" is a common name in German and other central European languages. The market's dropped in recent months, along with the overall economy so the expectations are less.

Regardless, now it's a buyer's market and this LLL .com should do well.
