A great cause and another revolutionary idea from Bido. This is an excellent way for domainers to give-back.

With strong domains I would expect this auction to fetch a sale in the $x,xxx range at the very least.

Hats-off to Bido and hopefully this inspires more people to give back!

Okay - so this is what people mean when they say category-killer. Given that many businesses and people are going bankrupt right now this is a *very* hot topic.

I've had a lot of success getting great search engine placement for .us sites and I'm sure this domain could get excellent rankings and strong traffic very quickly.

With 450,000 local searches and 550,000 global along with strong advertiser competition the sky really is the limit with this domain.

If this goes for under $1K I'd be very surprised!

This is a great domain that has a lot of SEO potential. On Google alone the keywords "beta release" (used together) area searched for more than 18,000 times per month!

Think of all the companies that release beta software - the development potential for this site is incredible. Content is going to be key here as people visiting a domain like this will most likely be looking for information about beta releases.

Boxing Boots is not a hot topic online but does certainly cater to a small group of people. "Boxing Boots" returns around 50,000 results on Google. A domain like BoxingGloves.com is much stronger as "Boxing Gloves" returns over 2 million results on Google, and let's face it, when you think of boxing accessories, gloves is the first thing that comes to mind.

This domain is a good buy for someone with an interest in developing a website selling boxing boots. It is a fairly specific niche but a good fit for someone with an interest in it specifically.

Fair value in the low to mid $xxx

With 90 million results on Google for "compete" (with quotes) I can see this being a very valuable investment. Compete.com is a fully-developed website with an Alexa rating around 4,000 which shows the full potential of a company or product based around this name.

As our company has found with .info names, having a top keyword in the domain name itself is very valuable. Created in 1997, this domain has nice age to it and will be easy to create a site that indexes well in search engines for this very hot keyword.

Great deal under $2k.

Credit Statement has a global monthly search volume of over 27,000 with a nice amount of advertising interest. If a quality website was built on this domain it could definitely generate advertising interest from many of the people currently paying to advertise for this keyword on Google and Yahoo.

It is important to note that "statement" is not one of the top ten associated keywords related to "credit" when people search on Google. "card", "union" and "debt" are all much stronger keywords to associate with credit.

I would expect to see this domain sell in the high $xxx range or potentially low $x,xxx

When looking for domain names with strong keywords it is important to make sure the keywords are related, and in the right order. In this case the keywords are in the right order, i.e. equitygrant makes more sense than grantequity.

One you know the keywords are ordered correctly - you have to see how closely related the keywords are. With only about 50,000 results on Google for "equity grant" and not a single advertiser this does not look like a big market.

Ideally you would like to see at least a few advertisers for your given keywords so that you know that a good ranking for the term could mean that advertisers would pay to have a link or ad on your site.

If you are in the equity market and these two keywords together mean something to you and your customers then this domain name makes sense. As a general domain investor I would focus on more relevant domains.

At first glance this looks like a great domain given the current media focus on home loans. However, it is absolutely essential to know if the keywords that comprise the domain are frequently found together.

I like the use the example of two very popular keywords "taxes" and "freedom". If you type in "taxes" (in quotes) on Google you will find 158 million results, "freedom" returns 246 million - these are very popular keywords. Put them together and try a search for "freedom taxes" and only 10,000 relevant pages are found.

I believe this is the main problem with this domain - it has two strong keywords "fixed" and "loans" which would be much more valuable associated with a different keyword. "carloans" or "homeloans" would be far more valuable keyword pairs than "fixedloans". With only 600,000 relevant results on Google this is not a frequently used keyword pair.

While you won't get much type-in traffic - there is always development potential since the domain has two strong keywords in the title. With a well-built, SEO-savvy site a domainer could use these keywords to their advantage.

I think this domain has may have been a great catch when YoYo's were popular however this is a trend that has long been gone.

The YoYo was a great form of individual gaming entertainment before the advent of the video game - but now, times have changed and I think this domain has very little appeal.

Even developed I'm not sure what type of a business there is around Free YoYo's. Something like Free Cellphone would be far stronger as you could actually give a free cellphone-away since it could be attached to some kind of service contract.

If you want a domain that will be a good investment and have strong development potential I'm not sure this would be in my top 10. It is good for someone that is specifically interested in YoYo's and has been waiting to fill this niche online.

I have to say that I've always been a fan of .cc. It's easy to type with two of the exact same letters very easy to remember. As for history - this goes without saying - this is a category-killer to end all category-killers.

With 45.5 million local searches in April and over 37 million global searches this is an incredible keyword to own. That being said there is plenty of competition so it will take some time to get this to rank well.

This is an SEO expert's dream and a history-buffs reason for getting-up in the morning. I wouldn't be surprised to see this go for somewhere in the $x,xxx range.
