Now bring buyers who contact you directly to Bido to handle the transaction. The quote is a simple and easy to understand landing page. It'll have a description of what you are selling, your BidoPrice, your Buy It Now price (optional), and a timer (optional).

When the buyers land on your BidoQuote, they'll be able to place a pre-bid and send the item to auction, open to all (and included in the Bido inventory lists that are syndicated out). In addition to bidding, you may optionally enable a Buy It Now price. This way, the buyer is given a choice: take a chance and be outbid in a public auction, or accept a BIN price and initiate the transaction right away. Enabling a BIN price allows you a method to potentially sell the domain for more than you anticipated. And it's a win-win for both parties; buyers won't need to wait for an auction and can obtain their item faster.

When creating a quote, you're given the option to make the quote have an expiration time, if you so desire. The landing page will have a count-down clock showing when the quote will expire. This is useful to provide incentive to the prospect to "act now", and it works as described. If you enable the feature, the quote will actually close at the time you specify.

After you create your BidoQuote, you'll be given the link to use to direct people to your newly created quote. After a sale, Bido will handle the escrow of funds, and facilitate the transfer between the buyer and the seller. For security, all items setup for quotes go through the normal self-serve verification process, it typically takes just a minute, and the system will walk you through the steps when creating the quote.

You may create as many BidoQuotes as you would like. BidoQuotes are free to create and manage. The typical Bido commission is 10% of the sale amount, and will only apply to successful sales.

After a successful sale, Bido will collect the payment from the buyer, and you'll be given a familiar Bido transfer panel to communicate with the buyer to complete the transfer. After the transfer is complete, Bido will issue your proceeds. This offers complete protection for both buyers and sellers alike, and we're here to help every step of the way.
