The BidoQuote page has a description of what you are selling, your Buy-It-Now(BIN) price (price quote for immediate purchase) and/or your BidoPrice (reserve for bids), and optionally a timer.
When prospect buyers land on your BidoQuote page, they'll be able to either purchase your domain immediately (where the BIN option was used), or place a bid and send the domain to immediate public auction (where the BidoPrice option was used).
You may also use both the BidoPrice and the BIN options. This way, the buyer is given a choice: Either take a chance to be outbid in a public auction, or accept the BIN price you have set and close the sale right away. Enabling both a BidoPrice and a BIN price allows you a method to potentially sell the domain for more than you've anticipated. And it's a win-win for both parties: Buyers won't need to risk loosing the domain in auction and can obtain the domain immediately, and sellers get the price they wanted for the domain.
When creating a quote, you're also given the option to make the quote have an expiration time, if you so desire. The landing page will then have a count-down clock showing when the quote will expire, so that time is running on your quote. This is useful to provide incentive to the prospect to "act now", and allows you the seller a full control over the time in which your quote is valid. If you enable this feature, the quote will actually close at the time you specify.
It does not take more than 1-2 minutes to create a quote, and once you've created your BidoQuote, you'll be given a link to the BidoQuote page. You can then send this link directly to any prospect buyer, as offers on your domains are coming in.
BidoQuotes are free to create and manage. You may create as many BidoQuotes as you would like. For security, all items setup for quotes go through the normal self-serve ownership verification process. It typically takes just a minute, and the system will walk you through the steps when creating the quote.
After a successful sale, Bido will issue an invoice to the buyer, collect payment from the buyer, and you'll be given the familiar Bido transfer panel to communicate with the buyer to complete the transfer. Once the transfer is finalized, Bido will pay you your proceeds in a typical fashion. BidoQuotes provide absolute protection for both buyers and sellers alike (full escrow for the transaction), and we're here to help every step of the way. The sales commission is 2% of the sale amount where the BIN option has been used, and will only apply to successful sales. Additionally, all sales that are closed via BidoQuote (BIN) are kept private and confidential, and are not published on our sales archive.
Another use BidoQuote, is by forwarding your domain to the BidoQuotes page (via the link to it) and so making it the landing page of your domain. This way the BidoQuote is simply a landing page for offers on your domain, where prospect buyers may either use the Buy-It-Now option to purchase the domain immediately, or/and bid according to the set reserve, which will send the domain to immediate public auction.
